Marlene Dolat is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience. She is a graduate of the Yale University School of Nursing Masters program in Orange, CT who furthered her education by receiving a certificate specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT. During her years of practice, Marlene developed an appreciation for physical health and it’s relation to our behavioral health, worked for several years in a Sleep Center to develop a better understanding of sleep related issues and their impact on our health, and has worked with and actively treats patients in the recovery community.
Ms. Dolat’s belief is that treatment should be developed around an individual’s comfort levels, and it should be a professional partnership based on trust and mutual respect. On initial assessment, a plan for treatment will be discussed and an initial treatment goal will be agreed upon. By utilizing a caring and informed approach, Ms. Dolat works to holistically treat those she serves.
